Regina police have charged two men and a teenage girl after an early morning stand-off on Winnipeg Street Tuesday.
It started at about 4:45 a.m. at a home on the 1800 block of Winnipeg Street by 11th Avenue.
Police were called there after getting reports that a woman had been robbed and threatened with a gun. Once on scene, police blocked off the street and began trying to get everyone inside the home to exit it, eventually taking nine people into custody.
When they got into the home, officers found two guns, knives, machetes, ammo, drugs believed to be crystal meth and the belongings of the robbery victim.
They charged a 21-year-old Kamsack man with uttering threats, gun possession and unauthorized gun possession.
A 33-year-old Regina man was also charged with drug possession and three counts of possession of property obtained by crime.
The 16-year-old girl was charged with obstructing a police officer for allegedly giving a false statement and hiding one of the guns in the house.
