Regina police have charged two men — ages 18 and 21 — with theft, property and weapons offences after a case of suspected shoplifting on Sunday night.
According to police, the incident happened at a department store in east Regina, where a loss prevention officer arrested two men who allegedly went around the store hiding merchandise in a duffel bag.
Police say one suspect possessed several items believed to be stolen. They say they found a gun and ammunition with the second.
Both made their first appearance in court on Monday morning.
