Police seized up to $23,000 worth of cocaine and meth after a vehicle was stopped as it was approaching Yorkton Monday morning.
Police said they stopped a vehicle heading east on Highway 16 approaching Yorkton around 3 a.m.
The investigation led to a search of the vehicle, which led to a seizure of a large amount of cocaine and methamphetamine.
RCMP said using current street prices of the drugs in Saskatchewan, the cocaine is estimated to be worth between $8,000 and $9,000 and the meth is worth between $10,000 and $14,000.
A 51-year-old man and 36-year-old woman are facing trafficking charges. Both will appear in Yorkton provincial court Tuesday.
