It’s not just leafy green vegetables that can be subject to a recall; Health Canada is warning people to stop using two brands of pot sold at stores in Saskatchewan.
A Manitoba-based producer called Bonify Ltd. has issued the recall for Cherry Lime Pie and Warlock Kush brands of dried cannabis.
They could potentially exceed the limits on microbial and chemical contaminants under cannabis regulations.
About 52 units of the recalled product were sold around the last week of November at three Saskatchewan stores including Cannabis Co. in Regina, Spiritleaf in Moose Jaw and The Pot Shack in Saskatoon.
There have been no complaints or reports of adverse effects from the product so far, but Health Canada is warning people to stop using the product immediately.
