Someone simply trying to sell something turned into a robbery at a home in northwest Regina on Tuesday night at around 9 o’clock.
Police said in an emailed news release that someone on the 200 block of Trudelle Crescent, near McCarthy Avenue and 1st Avenue N., tried to sell something, and arranged to meet the buyer.
Two men showed up, one holding what appeared to be a weapon, then took the item and ran off.
Regina police used the K9 unit to trying finding the pair, but had no success.
They’re asking the public with any information about the theft to come forward.
One man is five feet, five inches tall, weighing 150 pounds and wearing a grey hoodie. Police say the other man is described as five feet, seven inches, tall, weighing about 160 pounds and wearing a black hoodie.
Anyone with information about the theft should call police or crime stoppers.
