Police are investigating after an incident in Regina’s Al Ritchie neighbourhood Friday night.
Around 11 p.m., Regina police sent out a news release, saying its special weapons and tactics unit — along with canines and crisis negotiators — were deployed around the 100 block east of College Avenue, near Arcola Community School.
At 11:35 p.m., police sent out another statement, noting the emergency services teams cleared the area.
Details on the nature of the incident haven’t been released.
