O'Day discusses Trevor Harris and changes to be made to get the Riders back to the Grey Cup.
New Year’s Eve revelers looking to cab it from one spot to the next, or looking to head home after the clock strikes midnight should be prepared to wait for up to an hour, say three of Regina’s taxi cab companies.
Regina Cabs, Co-Op Taxi and Capital Cab all confirmed that their drivers will be busy throughout the night, and that wait times for a taxi hit their peak after midnight.
They estimated longer wait times will range from 30 minutes to one hour.
When a customer makes a request for a cab, they said it’s best to be at the spot where they’re calling from until the taxi has arrived.
Wait times during Monday morning and afternoon should be about 10 to 15 minutes, the cab companies said.
