Yorkton RCMP is looking for an inmate who escaped from the Saskatchewan Penitentiary on New Year’s Eve.
Workers at the penitentiary discovered Steven Briggs, 24, was missing from the minimum security unit in Prince Albert around 10 p.m. Monday.
Briggs is driving a blue 2015 Dodge truck that is a four-door crew cab model which belongs to the Correctional Service of Canada.

On Tuesday, Briggs was seen driving the truck in the Yorkton area around 4 p.m.
Yorkton RCMP is asking for the public’s help with any information in regards to the location of Briggs or the vehicle.
