A 36-year-old Regina man is facing charges after a man was found with gunshot wounds at home near the Pasqua Hospital Thursday night.
Police were called to a house in the 1400 block of Wascana Street around 9:30 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found two men in the backyard — one of them with gunshot wounds.
The hurt man was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.
Police then cleared the home and arrested three people who were inside.
After searching the residence, officers found a gun and ammunition.
Following an investigation by Regina police’s canine unit, SWAT and crisis negotiation teams, a 36-year-old man was charged with aggravated assault and six counts of possessing a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order.
He’ll make his first court appearance next Monday.
