Over 3,000 stuffed animals were tossed onto the ice.
You’ll want to get your skates sharpened if you live in Moose Jaw, as the city says seven of its outdoor rinks are now open.
They include:
- Kinfield Outdoor Rink
- Moose Square Outdoor Rink
- Sunningdale Outdoor Rink
- Ross Wells Outdoor Rink
- Henleaze skating pad
- East End Outdoor Rink
- Wakamow Valley Oval
The city continues to flood five others.
Crews are also painting the rings of the Crokicurl pad in Elgin Park and expect to be finished by Jan. 11.
