Regina police need help from the public after two teenagers were jumped in North Central early Sunday morning.
In both incidents, the victims were walking near 5th Avenue when a group of people attacked them with what police describe as a bladed weapon.
The incidents were separate, but police believe the same group of assailants attacked both the 16-year-old and 17-year old victims.
The police were first called to an apartment on the 1000 block of Retallack St. at 2:50 a.m. where they found the 16-year-old boy with several injuries.
The teen said he was assaulted by a group of people, but was not able to say how many people or how many weapons were used against him.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Half an hour later, police were called to the hospital where a 17-year-old described a similar attack in the same area.
He told officers he was walking with a group of friends when he was attacked.
Police have no description of the attackers other than they were dressed in black.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
