Duron Carter returned to social media after the football season and we are all reminded what makes Duron so great and why he has trouble keeping work.
He’s honest and he’s not afraid to share his opinion.
Media swarmed to Duron after practices and games because he was due to give you an honest assessment on how he saw the game or the state of the team. He did it with a smile.
I never had an issue with Duron.
But I do know some teammates did, and clearly so too did the organizations that let him go, despite his incredible talent.
Carter would tell you what he really thought of you; in an ego-driven game, some egos get hurt to the point that things boil over.
Carter called out Jeremy O’Day for calling him a distraction in 2017 after a fight in practice. Tweets show Carter has no interest in returning to Saskatchewan, as if there was a chance, because the feeling is likely mutual.
Can Duron ever hold back? If he did, he may have stayed in Montreal or Saskatchewan longer. But he wouldn’t be Duron, and to his credit, he knows who he is and doesn’t apologize for it.
