Regina police have arrested and charged a 30-year-old Ontario man with attempted murder after a shooting dating back to last fall.
Police were sent to the 100 block of Dorothy Street around 9:45 p.m. on Oct. 31, 2018 after getting a call about a man who was hurt.
When officers arrived, they found a 34-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital in serious condition.
Investigations by patrol and the Regina police street gang unit eventually lead to the arrest of a man from Sudbury, Ont. on Jan. 25. Along with attempted murder, he was also charged with breaching an undertaking and five firearms offences.
He appeared in court for the first time Monday morning.
