Regina police have charged a 32-year-old man with gun crimes after he allegedly pointed a gun at and threatened two teenage girls.
Police officers were first called to the scene in Regina’s North Central neighbourhood just after 2 p.m. on Saturday after a gun was reported there.
In an emailed news release, police said the two girls left the house and weren’t injured.
When officers arrived on the scene, they arrested the 32-year-old without any trouble.
Police searched the home and say they found two guns and other prohibited weapons inside.
He’s charged the man with unauthorized possession of a gun, pointing a gun, careless storage of a gun and unauthorized possession of restricted weapons.
The man made his first court appearance Monday morning.
