Charges have been laid in the death of Morris Poitras of Fort Qu’Appelle.
Last Friday, Regina police took 37-year-old Christopher Dillin Braun into custody. On Sunday, they announced he has been charged with second-degree murder.
Braun will make his first court appearance on Tuesday.
Poitras, 27, was found dead on Valentine’s Day in Regina’s North Central area. He was the city’s first murder victim of the year.
