Two batons and an axe — that’s what police say were found when three teenagers were arrested Friday night near the Pasqua Hospital.
The police were called around 11:30 p.m. after a woman was allegedly threatened by three teenage boys with a baton.
Officers already were at the hospital for another reason, and they took off after the teens — eventually catching up to and arresting them.
The teens are 14, 15, and 16 years old. As per the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the teens cannot be named.
All three are jointly charged with assault with a weapon. The 14-year-old also is charged with possession of a weapon. The 15-year-old is facing charges of possession of a weapon, failure to comply with a sentence, and failure to comply with undertaking.
