Police in Saskatchewan dealt with more than 200 incidents of impaired driving in January.
SGI revealed in a media release Friday that 194 impaired-driving charges were laid and 30 roadside suspensions were issued in the province during the month.
According to SGI, police in January also handed out 545 tickets to drivers who were on their cellphones, 383 tickets for the improper use of seatbelts and car seats and 5,160 tickets for speeding and aggressive driving.
