The online reservation system for Saskatchewan’s provincial campgrounds has been given an upgrade.
The Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport announced Wednesday that the saskparks.com website is being changed for the 2019 camping season. The goal is to give campers what the ministry called “the option to book a wider array of sites and services online.”
However, the move to the new system means campers’ previous account details – including their reservation histories – won’t be carried over.
Campers who want to save those details should visit their current accounts on the website and click on the “My Reservations” tab. Once there, they can take a screenshot, print the page or write down the details. The deadline for saving that information is March 15.
Reservations open for seasonal sites on April 2, for group camping sites on April 4, and for nightly sites on April 8.
