A charge against a woman accused of recording a video of two boys fighting in a Regina alley has been stayed.
Daralee Klyne was charged with assault in connection to the incident which was recorded and posted on Facebook in May 2015.
The video showed two boys, ages 7 and 9, throwing punches in an alley with the voice of a woman urging them to fight.
After investigating, police found the boys did not sustain any serious injuries and charged Klyne, who was 18 at the time, with assault.
Klyne was taken into custody earlier this year after spending more than three years on a bench warrant.
Crown prosecutor Steve Robertson said that, given the circumstances and the time spent on the case, the charge recently was stayed and she was released.
