Saskatchewan’s former premier has landed a new gig.
Brad Wall was named to the board of directors for NexGen Energy, the company announced Thursday.
“Mr. Wall brings extensive national energy policy, political and economic experience and has demonstrated a very strong commitment, results and advocacy in the best interests of Saskatchewan and Canada over his entire career,” NexGen’s chief executive officer, Leigh Curyer, said in a release.
NexGen Energy is a British Columbia-based company which owns the rights to a uranium deposit in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin as well as several prospective uranium exploration projects in the province’s northwest.
