Breakdancing??!!
You have got to be kidding me.
Breakdancing is a step closer to being a medal sport at the Olympics. And I use the term ‘sport’ loosely, but so too does the International Olympic Committee, clearly.
While I have to concede it takes fitness and practice and ability to breakdance at a high level, can we not all agree that breakdancing should not be an Olympic sport?
Baseball and softball had to fight to get back into the Games but breakdance has seen a quick and seemingly easy rise to land on the schedule for 2024.
Of course, we aren’t too far away from seeing a bunch of millennials playing video games — or, as they like to call it E-Sports — becoming an Olympic sport as well.
So hey, why not combine the two? Dance Dance Revolution is up for the video game hall of fame, so why not send that to the Olympics as well and kill two birds with one stone?
