On Saturday, just before 11:30 a.m., the Regina Police Service received a call of an injured man in the 3300 block of 6th Avenue.
Officers found the 40-year-old man in the west lane of the 1400 block of Argyle Street. Paramedics took him to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A subsequent investigation led to Stonechild’s arrest.
