The RCMP believes it has found the remains of a missing man and has charged a 19-year-old woman with second-degree murder in connection to his death.
Colin Focht was last seen on Aug. 31. On Thursday, the RCMP found remains in a rural area outside of Yorkton that investigators believe are those of Focht. The identity needs to be confirmed through a forensic autopsy.
Police believe he was killed Sept. 1.
Taiya Alice Hudy, 19, was arrested Wednesday and was charged with second-degree murder. She was to make her first court appearance Friday.
The family of Focht has been updated on the investigation to date. The investigation is ongoing.
