Regina police found a gun and took one male into custody on Saturday after responding to a home in the 1600 block of Montreal Street near Sask Drive.
Police said they had received reports of a gunshot being fired.
However, they have not said if any charges were laid.
A heavy police presence was spotted outside the home, with about 10 cruisers and officers carrying rifles.
Traffic on a portion of Sask Drive was closed but has since been re-opened.
