A 22-year-old Regina man faces 14 weapons charges after the Regina Police Service’s SWAT team was deployed near Pony Park on Wednesday evening.
According to a media release from the police, officers, detectives, canine units and members of the Special Weapons and Tactics team executed a search warrant at a house in the 600 block of Garnet Street.
On Thursday, police revealed its officers arrested the 22-year-old after the search of the house found several firearms and ammunition. The man made his first court appearance Thursday.
