A 37-year-old Regina man is facing two charges of attempted murder after a shooting incident in the city on Sunday.
According to a release issued by the Regina Police Service, Steven Karl Miller was to make his first court appearance Thursday morning. In addition to two charges of attempting to commit murder with a firearm, he also was charged with arson.
Police were called to the 1900 block of Fleet Street on Sunday at around 5:10 a.m., after receiving a report of two men who had been shot. The victims were taken to hospital and treated.
The police investigation determined that the shooting had happened in the area of the 400 block of Fines Drive. The investigation subsequently identified a suspect, who was arrested on Wednesday.
