Regina SWAT team helps with investigation

The Regina Police Service’s Special Weapons and Tactics team joined crisis negotiators and a canine team on a call around 11 p.m. Sunday evening in the 1000 block of Wascana Street.

An RPS media release said a number of people were taken into custody.

According to the police, charges are expected as a result of the incident, but the RPS didn’t provide details.

The investigation is continuing.
