The Saskatchewan Roughriders completed Wednesday the signings of their selections in the 2019 CFL draft.
One week after announcing the signings of fifth-round selection Charbel Dabire (44th overall) and sixth-rounder Vincent Roy (53rd overall), the Roughriders revealed their four other picks in the draft had signed. The announcements came one day before Saskatchewan is to open its two-day rookie camp at Mosaic Stadium.
Receiver Justin McInnis (first round, sixth overall) signed after attending a couple of NFL free-agent camps. The 6-foot-5, 210-pounder out of Pierrefonds, Que., played three seasons with the Arkansas State University Red Wolves.
Brayden Lenius (second round, 15th overall) is a 6-foot-5, 230-pound receiver from North Vancouver, B.C., who had university stints with the Washington Huskies and New Mexico Lobos.
Lenius spent part of his childhood in Regina. His father, Troy Dickey, played for the Roughriders during the 1995 season.
Linebacker Jacob Janke (fourth round, 35th overall) is a 6-foot-2, 200-pounder from Leduc, Alta., who played three seasons with the York University Lions.
Saskatchewan’s final selection was defensive end Chris Judge (eighth round, 71st overall). The older brother of Roughriders linebacker Cameron Judge, Chris Judge played at the Air Force Academy before transferring to Cal Poly University.
The Roughriders also announced three territorial juniors — Regina Thunder offensive lineman Logan Ferland, Saskatoon Hilltops defensive back Colton Holmes and Hilltops offensive lineman Mason Ochs — will be at training camp.
Des Catellier of the University of Manitoba Bisons also will attend the Roughriders’ training camp as part of the CFL’s Canadian quarterback internship program.
