A 39-year-old man was arrested early Friday after members of the Regina Police Service descended on the 600 block of Montague Street.
In a media release, the police said officers saw a person who was wanted on warrants in that area. The police operation started just after 10 p.m., and lasted until just after 1 a.m., when the man left the house and was arrested.
Patrol officers, detectives, the canine unit, crisis negotiators and members of the Special Weapons and Tactics team were involved in the investigation. The arrest was made without any injuries to the suspect, police officers or members of the public.
The man was to appear in court Friday afternoon.
