It appears the CFL and CFLPA are once again on common ground after meeting Saturday — the day before training camps were set to open.
In a memo from the player’s association, it said the language used has now been agreed upon and it is prepared to sign and move forward with the tentative bargaining agreement that was originally brought forward.
The league also issued a statement an agreement had been reached.
As of Saturday night, training camps are set to get underway Sunday as planned.

The meeting was over a discrepancy in the Memorandum of Agreement between the league and the player’s association.
TSN’s Farhan Lalji reported it was over the language in the deal regarding U.S. player ratios.
Being told the issue is connected to the interpretation of the new American vet ratio of 3 🇺🇸 starters having to have played 3 seasons with same team or 4 in #CFL. @CFLonTSNhttps://t.co/5RALolnAzU

The deal still needs to be ratified by the players and board of governors. The memo stated each team will make arrangements to allow players to ask questions about the deal.
