It’s a sight you’d expect to see while you’re out in the bush, not so much while you’re driving around Regina’s warehouse district: A man walking down the street and pointing a bow and arrow at passing cars.
Regina police say that’s allegedly what happened on Wednesday at about 4:10 p.m.
They took a call at the 1900 block of Seventh Avenue, just west of Broad Street, for a report of a man “walking in the area pointing a loaded bow and arrow at vehicles,” a media release said.
When they found him, he still had the bow and arrow, the release said.
Police arrested the 43-year-old man, charging him with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and failing to follow a probation order.
Nobody was injured during the incident.
