RCMP are asking drivers in east central Saskatchewan to take alternate routes after a serious crash near Yorkton Saturday afternoon.
Mounties say it happened about five kilometres north of the city on Highway 9.
STARS Air Ambulance tweeted out around 3 p.m. that crews were headed to an emergency in the area.

According to a news release sent out around 3:30 p.m., the main highway is expected to be closed “for a significant amount of time” as crews investigate the crash.
In the meantime, RCMP have set up a detour.
