Country music fans who missed out on tickets to Garth Brooks’ first announced show for Regina can breathe a sigh of relief; tickets for his second show are still on sale.
Brooks originally announced one concert at Mosaic Stadium, planned for Aug. 10. Tickets to that show sold out in 59 minutes.
On June 10, Brooks announced he would play a second Regina concert, set for Aug. 9. Tickets for that show went on sale on Friday; as of Monday afternoon, it had yet to sell out.
The promoter for both concerts wouldn’t say how many tickets are still up for grabs, but the agency did say that more than 70,000 total tickets have been sold for both concerts.
The Evraz Place website states that Mosaic Stadium’s capacity can be expanded up to 40,000 people.
