The Ottawa Redblacks and the Saskatchewan Roughriders appear to be the same team.
Both have defences that impressed in Week 1.
Quarterbacks who have serious question marks.
Receiving corps that have a steady veteran and some young CFLers hoping for breakout seasons.
Two young kickers that are trying to repeat sensational seasons.
Oh, and they do have pretty good running backs in William Powell in Saskatchewan and his former backup, Mossis Madu, in Ottawa.
So who wins?
Dominique Davis and the Redblacks somehow survived four interceptions in Calgary. The Riders lost their quarterback and held in against the popular pick to win the East (Hamilton).
I can make a decent argument why both teams win this game. I’m picking Saskatchewan, based on a hunch, but also their ability last week to control the ball, and if they can keep Jeremiah Masoli at bay, they definitely can do the same against Dom Davis.
