Tuesday is the deadline to pay for property taxes in Regina.
Payments can be made at city hall from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday to Friday. On Tuesday, the payment counter is open an hour later until 5:45 p.m.
The drive-thru tax kiosk beside city hall on McIntyre Street is also open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. Residents preferring this method are reminded that the payment is by cheque only and must be accompanied by a tax bill.
Residents can also pay their property taxes online or through tele-banking.
Any payments received or dated after July 2, 2019 are subject to a monthly penalty.
Homeowners were mailed their property tax notices on May 30. Anyone who has lost or not received a tax notice can contact the city at 306-777-7000 to have a duplicate notice emailed to them.
