The Regina Police Service and Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service have opened a death investigation after finding a body in a house in the 1300 block of Garnet Street early Tuesday.
According to a media release, officers were sent to the home at approximately 1 a.m., to assist a person who was in distress. Upon arrival, the officers found a man who was unresponsive. EMS arrived and confirmed the man was dead.
No one else was found inside the house and officers called the coroner, Forensic Identification and Major Crimes.
The man has been identified, but his name wasn’t released.
