After a year-long investigation into her disappearance, the RCMP believes Ashley Morin was the victim of a homicide.
In a media release marking one year since the now-32-year-old was last seen, the Saskatchewan RCMP has released new information in the case.
Police shared an image of a two-tone van that is lighter on top and darker on the bottom and appears to have no windows.
The van was seen on the corner of 96th Street and 16th Avenue in North Battleford on July 10, 2018, at around 9:30 p.m. This is one of the last places Morin was seen.
Police hope the public can identify the occupants of the van as they may hold valuable information in locating Morin.
The Saskatchewan RCMP said it is focused on determining what happened to Morin and where she is.
To date, officers haven’t found any mobile phone usage, any social media usage, and any bank account activity linked to Morin throughout the year.
To mark the one-year anniversary, a group plans to walk from Saskatoon to North Battleford starting Friday.
“We miss her and we love her,” friend and family spokesperson Krista Fox previously told battlefordsNOW. “She is out there somewhere. We have to do what we can to keep people aware that we are not giving up. We will not give up until we can bring her home.”
