Regina police are asking for the public’s help after a possible abduction on Tuesday.
Police said officers were dispatched around 12:03 p.m. to a parking lot on the 400 block of Albert Street North.
Police said a vehicle with a single person inside pulled into a parking lot, and a small black car pulled up behind it. One of the suspects exited the black car with what appeared to be a gun and pointed it at the driver of vehicle. Police said the driver exited the vehicle and was forced into the small black car that another suspect was in.
Both vehicles drove away and no shots were reportedly fired.
The victim’s vehicle is described as a black car or smaller SUV with four doors and a roof rack. Police did not provide a description of the person who was allegedly abducted.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a black, four-door car. Police believe there are at least two suspects involved.
Police said the incident is not believed to be connected to the current RCMP investigation into the two murder suspects from British Columbia.
