A 62-year-old man is dead after a crash between a motorcycle and a Correctional Service Canada (CSC) vehicle near Whitewood on Wednesday.
According to Broadview RCMP, it happened around 11:50 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 1 and Highway 9.
The man, who was driving the motorcycle, died of his injuries while in the Broadview hospital.
RCMP haven’t received any reports of injuries to the driver or the passengers of the CSC transport vehicle.
Police are not releasing the man’s name.
According to Mounties, alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
No charges are expected to be laid.
