Aggravated assault charge laid after Regina machete attack

Regina police have charged an 18-year-old man with aggravated assault after an alleged machete attack on Monday morning.

Police found a male victim near the 1800 block of Halifax Street, near the intersection with 11th Avenue at about 12:35 a.m.

The victim was sent to hospital. There’s no word on his condition.
