Mounties from Saskatchewan and Manitoba have retrieved a body from Blackstrap Lake, south of Saskatoon.
A news release from the RCMP said the body was located along the lake Wednesday afternoon.
Mounties did not release the identity of the body, but Mounties had been searching the lake for a missing jet skier since Saturday.
“The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the Saskatchewan Coroners Service,” the release said.
A release earlier in the day said the RCMP had ended that search after finding no trace of a 36-year-old man who they presumed drowned.
The RCMP said victim services have been engaged and are providing support to the family.
Boat launches at the lake had been reopened.
