SaskPower has restored power to areas in south Regina, after what it called an “underground cable fault” left the areas of Albert Park, Hillsdale, Whitmore Park and south Albert in the dark.
The utility provider said the outages were first reported at 7:21 Thursday morning.
As of 8 a.m., SaskPower workers were dispatched to look for the cause of the outage in order to start repairing it.
Power was restored at about 8:45 on Thursday morning.
SaskPower said the outage affected approximately 3,200 customers, meaning residences and businesses with a power hook-up.
