Police have arrested an eighth person charged in connection with Tiki Laverdiere’s homicide.
Mavis Quinn Takekenew, 55, of North Battleford is charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
She is scheduled to make her first appearance in North Battleford Provincial Court on Friday at 9:30 a.m.
Police are still searching for Nikita Sandra Cook from the Onion Lake Cree Nation in relation to the investigation. Cook, who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant, is charged with first-degree murder and kidnapping.
Six others are facing a variety of charges in the case.
