The RCMP says it’s looking for two men from the Frog Lake, Alta., area who left the co-owner of the Tempo gas station in Holbein with a broken leg after he tried to stop a gas and dash.
On Aug. 13, two men gassed up the truck they were driving and tried to leave without paying.
Trent Riel tried to stop them by reaching into the cab of the truck to grab the keys. The truck spun around and Riel was thrown off and suffered a broken leg.
The RCMP says John Vincent Fryingpan, 26, is charged with theft under $5,000, aggravated assault, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm, failure to stop, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
There also is a warrant for 31-year-old Bradley Lee Fryingpan, who is charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Police say the pair may have headed back to Alberta, but this isn’t confirmed.
