Right in the heart of Rider Nation, a Regina high school won’t be putting up a football team for the 2019-20 school year.
Thom Collegiate won’t have a football team this year because not enough students signed up, the Regina Public School Division confirmed.
The players who signed up will either by playing for the Winston Knoll Wolverines or in the Regina Minor Football ranks.
The school has produced notable players in the past, like current Saskatchewan Roughriders centre Dan Clark, ex-Roughriders fullback Neal Hughes and former Riders player and president Jim Hopson.
