In an effort to get tips from the public, the Regina Police Service has released photos of a man who allegedly shot at two people walking down the street on Monday evening in the North Central neighbourhood.
The police service said in a previously emailed news release that it got a complaint on Monday about a man riding a mountain bike who “exchanged words with two pedestrians. The male dismounted his mountain bike, produced a firearm and discharged it in the direction of the two pedestrians.”
The release said the two people ran away from the man, south on Robinson Street.
The man on the bike apparently rode north.
There were no injuries reported.
Regina police said the man looked to be in his late teens or early 20s, and was wearing black shoes, black shorts, a black T-shirt with an Adidas logo and a black hat.
Anyone with information about the incident should call police or Crime Stoppers.
