A man who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant on charges relating to human trafficking has been arrested in Montreal.
Daniel Khet, 26, was arrested on Wednesday on unrelated matters. Khet, who is from Montreal but frequently travelled to Saskatchewan, is being returned to Regina to appear in court on Wednesday.
Khet was wanted after an investigation into offences that allegedly occurred in Saskatchewan between the end of March and the beginning of April.
Charges against him include uttering threats, assault, forcible confinement and trafficking in persons.
