The Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) came up just short in its bid to be crowned No. 1 in a U.S. lip sync competition.
Its video featuring officers lip syncing to the Backstreet Boys hit ‘I Want It That Way’ was the lone Canadian entry chosen for the Lip Sync to the Rescue special on CBS.
The show aired Monday night and when it was over, the SPS finished third overall.
Police in Norfolk, Va., took the title for their rendition of Bruno Mars’ ‘Uptown Funk.’
They defeated Seattle police in a live online vote to determine the winner of the $100,000 grand prize.
