Four teenagers have been charged in connection with five break-and-enters at Regina businesses on Friday.
According to a media release from the Regina Police Service, the teens — two 15-year-olds, a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old — are facing a total of 25 charges.
Early Friday, two businesses in the 2100 block of Quance Street and one each in the 1700 block of Winnipeg Street, the 3400 block of Quance Street and the 3600 block of Victoria Avenue East were broken into.
In four of the cases, someone smashed the front window of the business with a rock or another large object. A variety of items was taken, including a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan.
Surveillance video helped investigators identify suspects and, on Friday at about 5 p.m., officers saw one of the suspects wearing clothes like those worn by one of the people in the video. After further investigation, the four males were arrested.
They face charges ranging from break and enter to possession of stolen property.
All four made their first court appearances on Monday.
