8:30 – Prince Albert nurse Carolyn Strom was at the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal yesterday as her lawyer argued to overturn charges of professional misconduct against Strom stemming from a 2015 Facebook post. In the post, Strom criticized the care her grandfather received at the St. Joseph’s Health Facility in Macklin, calling it “subpar.” After staff complained, Strom was fined $1,000 for professional misconduct as well as $25,000 to cover part of the $150,000 investigation. Strom joins Drew now to discuss why she’s still fighting the case.
